The following images were taken while traveling on public transit to, from, or within my home of Philadelphia. I’ve found that traveling on public transit like Septa, Amtrak, or Patco brings all walks of life together. Income, ethnicity, race, and belief systems don’t matter; you’re all just passing through. People let their guard down. Deteriorating infrastructure is on display. Though sadly we’re all rushing around and transfixed by our phones. Everyone misses so much by not just looking up.
